Children often struggle to fit in; however, none is more isolating then a child who has psychic abilities. Their experiences may be met with skepticism or prejudice. Critics may label the children mentally ill, attention seekers or simply liars. To avoid the negative reaction from others, psychic children may keep their experiences secret, or repress their intuition.
