I adore books. There is absolutely no better feeling than opening a new book, with its stiff spine and crisp pages, reading the first sentence or two, and knowing you can not put the book down until it’s done. It is rare and wonderful to find an author who creates that kind of magic.
My favorite authors have inspired me to write. Their talent and skill made writing seem so easy. It is not easy. In fact, it is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. And yet, I love it. I love to uncover these secret places in my mind, where characters live, all brimming with their own personalities and stories to tell.
I look for inspiration in books, in articles, in overheard conversations or even every day activities. I am compiling the results here, for you, because someday, it may be YOUR book I open and can’t put down until it’s done.
